Fire at Tiffany's

fire-tiffanys.jpg A little early for breakfast (7 p.m. last night), a two-alarm fire broke out at 360 Post on Union Square, otherwise known as the Tiffany's building, whose upper floors are home to various office and doctor-type tenants. The fire is said to have been in the basement of the eleven-story building and was contained within a half hour. No word on how many little robin's egg blue boxes were destroyed, or how long Tiffany's might need to be closed.

There were so many fire trucks and other rescue trucks out on Stockton, it was crazy! Lots of onlookers from the hotels and the Nike tent on Union Sq.

My dentist is in that building.

Oh, there go the alert sirens! I can always hear the sirens but never the voice that says this is a test.

I was leaving the St Francis when I saw all the fire trucks so I took a few pics before heading home.
