Quickly becoming the Fuzio of Asian cuisine, Osha Thai according to Eater, will set up shop in the old Bong Su space at Third and Folsom, replacing the greatest-named restaurant in San Francisco that closed earlier this year.
What with an Osha already open for business at Second and Howard, and Ozone Thai taking over Newsom's Jack Falstaff space very soon, one might say Eastern SOMA is turning into the...Thai-light Zone. Eh? Eh? Oh, hush.

Osha is alright and stuff (though when they say something is spicy, they ain't kiddin'), but I'm praying to the foodie Gods that we'll get a NYC Momofuku Noodle Bar-type place .... great ramen with other creative dishes. Diversify a little, ya know?
I prefer to think of it as the old Max's (overpriced) Diner space.
I should have learned my lesson when they cut the menu in half (2/3?), but Osha is dead to me now after having declined more with each expansion. I can't even be bothered to neg them on Yelp, I'm just going to forget about them and find someplace new. Someplace good.
The decor of the Geary location always throws me off. "Wait, this is supposed to be an Osha? Huh."
I always thought it was called "Asha" since that's what their logo says.
