$25,000 Reward for Justice for Brandon

While stomping over to Whole Foods SOMA on Sunday (alas, Greenlee's Cinnamon Bread trumps the boycott), we looked to the sky and saw a plane carrying a banner, reading, "Who Murdered My Son? JusticeForBrandon.com"

Bradon, of you recall, was 20-year-old Brandon Lee Evans, who was shot and killed in Golden Gate Park last November while hanging out with friends and listening to music. As Evans went to his car, he was shot during a robbery attempt. He later died en route to the hospital.

According to JusticeForBrandon.com, Brandon's family is looking to increase the reward money.

Brandon’s mother and his two brothers would like to find justice. They have established a fund to raise money to post signs and billboards to advertise the SFPD Reward and are seeking contributions to assist with this costly endeavor. If you would like to help make this happen, please consider making a contribution to the fund. All amounts are appreciated and increase the chance of Brandon’s killer(s) being found.

Anyone with information on Evans' murder should contact Inspector Brian Delahunty at 415-553-1336 or brian.delahunty@sfgov.org.
