MC Hammer! He played an 11:30am set for about a thousand middle-schoolers. Same old hits, with Pray, and Go Hammer Go (nee Go Ninja Go?). He looked good and gave a shoutout to the folks behind the fences, kept far from the youngsters.

Today I learned that San Franciscans don't deserve free music. They need to charge $5-10 and make it an infinitely better festival for everyone.

Yep. Sad but true. $10 probably isn't enough though. But at least it would keep the gutter hippies out. Gutter hippies who think they can play banjo are really, really, annoying.

Also, I'm sure the GGP groundskeepers will have something to say about every tree and shrub smaller than 3 inches in diameter being literally draped with bikes due to insufficient real bike parking.

Looks like there were lots of people behaving badly at the Festival.
