Folsom between 11th and 12th Streets will be closed today in order to produce another explosive episode of Trauma. If you need to dart down Folsom this afternoon, expect delays.
In related Trauma news, Newsom has "lauded" his wife's performance on Monday night's premiere. (If you didn't watch it, be sure to catch SFist's live-blogging of the NBC drama here.) “I thought it was very good, I thought even from the first scene, when the two helicopters crashed, I was not prepared for that,” Newsom told the Examiner.
He was also concerned that some of her scenes were cut. “She had six scenes and they only did two,” he said. “But nonetheless, it was great to see her in there.”
Update: Turns out Folsom has been closed since Monday. Um, yeah, oops. Anyway, better late than never.

I wonder what he thought about The Trouble With Romance?

Most working actors are gonna have a couple stinkers on their resumes; very few are in a position to pick and choose their work (although, given her background and her husband's financial situation, I suppose you could argue she does fall into that category).
Nice scoop SFist. Folsom from 13th to 11th and 12th between Harrison and Howard have both been closed since Monday for the shoot, and the planned closures run through tomorrow. The major action scenes including an ambulance being hit by a bus, and a bus crashing into a taxi, have already been filmed.
The big question is, when will the Gavster make his appearance on the show. If Willie Brown was still Mayor he would have been in the premier.
It's been closed for a while, but they were actually out there filming today. They had a whole bunch of ambulances and a helicopter.
There's a Huey Helicopter parked right on Newburg at Folsom, just outside the windows from Wish Bar. Friend posted a picture on Facebook, but it's not accessible to the public. I'll try to get him to send it over to you guys.
