Scenes from a Trauma Shoot: SOMA

folsomtrauma.jpg

Today, a Huey Helicopter parked right on Norfolk at Folsom next to Wish. The fine folks at Trauma have been filming in the area all week. Here's a shot of the Hollywood magic in action.
Another view after the jump.

Thanks goes out to SFist readers Sean (for taking the shots) and chrisr (for letting us know)!

Did someone steel the blades?

That explains why Folsom was closed; I was thought it was another one of these traffic experiments, where they randomly close a street and then measure the amount of road rage induced. Anyway, it is not clear to me why anyone is so excited about San Francisco being used for filming. It just inconveniences residents and it is not like the city needs the publicity to get people to visit.

Hmmm, I thought this was just one of those random street closures the City is inflicting on us these days. Anyway, why did we think that Trauma filming here was a good idea in the first place?

Can someone please get SFBurke the information he/she needs?
