Brian Sabean and Bruce Bochy, according to John Shea at SF Chron, "will be re-signed and return to the 2010 Giants." Good news, right? And now for some bad news: the Giants, as of yesterday, are no longer wild-card contenders. Sigh.

Good news? How?! Its bad news.
Bochy for one thing has never managed a constant playoff team and usually is only good for making half decent teams. And when you see some of his bone headed moves during games like sitting hot players for vets he trust but cant hit a softball your left pulling your hair! We need a manager that can play to this teams skills and make smart decision!
And about Sabean, just look at all the FA and trade crap we have done. You have guys making crazy money who cant do shit (Zito, Renteria, Rowand) and now we lost our #2 pitching prospect for a guy who is hurt all the time and give the giants about 20AB this year and could not help us go over the top.
This team won despite of Bochy and Sabean.
Resigning Sabean is far worse news than the Giants missing out on the wild card.
I'm fine with Sabean returning but kind of :/ about Bochy.
