Richard Alden Samuel McCroskey III of Castro Valley, the aspiring GANGSTA URBAN HIP-HOP RAP artist known as "Syko Sam" who allegedly killed four people in a small Virginia town (including his wildly naive girlfriend), bludgeoned his victims to death. Why? Because ""Jesus told [Syko Sam] to do it."
The bodies -- who were found over the weekend in a small town 50 miles west of Richmond, Virginia -- have been identified as Mark Niederbrock, a Presbyterian pastor, "Longwood University professor Debra Kelley, 53; Emma Niederbrock, 16, the daughter of Kelley and Mark Niederbrock; and Melanie Wells, 18, of Inwood, W.Va."
According to CBS 5/AP, Syko Sam was a "meek and kind person," one who crooned about "killing, maiming and mutilating" his fellow human beings. He presumably met Emma Niederbrock via MySpace, who had professed her love to him on the social networking site days before being beaten to death.
Check out his MySpace page here.

Well at least he had a reason.
Le sigh.....
Looks like a little creep to me. Hope his sperm and egg donors enjoy the infamy of producing such a wonderful little creature. Kids like this are the reason I own guns.
You boomers keep churning them out and we'll keep on locking them up!
jeez, why's Jesus always making people do stuff like this? He's gonna get a bad rap (no pun intended)
Am I the only one in hysterics over how the Chron is lame-footedly dancing around the decades-old Juggalos phenom? Welcome to the '90s, Tilt A Whirl.
found this in the comments of a SF Weakly article:

Brock, why do you call this poor, sick kid a "GANGSTA URBAN HIP HOP RAP artist"? that's just sensationalist--and not very accurate. No way was he gangsta. He certainly wasnt hip-hop. Castro Valley is more suburban than urban. and horrorcore is probably closer to heavy metal/goth/industrial than rap. so, basically, you are completely misleading--in all caps, no less. Also it's now been reported that he met his eventual victim at a concert in San Diego, not on MySpace. Other than your factually-challenged analysis, you're not really adding anything to this story. You might also want to note that, as i reported on SFWeekly's blog (the URL is here: http://blogs.sfweekly.com/shookdown/2009/09/update_chilling_new_details_em.php), allegations of McCroskey's involvement in a Satanic cult have come to light. Just dont blame hip-hop or rap for it, please.
yes, dear, i am well aware that it's inaccurate and sensational. which is why is was a joke. obviously, not a very good one.
ok you're forgiven. but why not say WIGGA WITH ATTITUDE WIGS OUT WICKEDLY or SUBURBAN SATANIST SLAUGHTERS SEVERAL? actually, scratch that. i might use it myself.
