drones.jpg MUSIC: It's a night of geographically diverse rock at Cafe Du Nord, featuring Australia's The Drones (dark/bluesy/psychedelic), Los Angeles' Model/Actress (noisy/high-energy indie rock), and SF's The Spyrals (ethereal/shoegaze/Brit-popesque). The Duke of Windsor will spin tunes between sets.

DANCE: The ODC Theater presents Chapter One and Two of Dandelion Dancetheater’s MUTT, a dance-play where "folk and blues, piercing physicality and dreamlike story-telling collide to examine the identity and afterlife of a young girl" born in an internment camp during WWII to a Japanese American internee and a Caucasian prison guard from Texas. The show runs through Sunday.

8 p.m. // ODC Dance Commons (351 Shotwell St) // $15-18
