SF Symphony Opening Night Gala Pictures

The opening night gala is more a fashion show than a musical performance, and le tout SF was at Davies Symphony Hall on Wednesday night to compliment each other on their expensive outfits. Here you can learn who is wearing an Alexander McQueen dress with her Jimmy Choos, which you are totally dying to know.

We did not see any celebs, despite roaming the two after-parties in the huge tent set up off Franklin and in City Hall. But that's because everyone looked like stars to us, except if you count KRON-TV JanWahl, who called us Conehead, and the SF Appeal's own Beth Spotswood, who did not. Oh, and Google's Marissa Mayer, who confided to us that her dress was an Oscar de la Renta. She looked as fabulous as her bank account. Even if we did not catch a glimpse of anyone else who is someone, we got to sample the tuna tartare of Asia de Cuba and the butterscotch pot de creme (served in a white egg shell, how adorable!) from the Cliff House. Enjoy the photo gallery!

is dede wilsey really a toddler?

Dear Cedric: But you are a conehead. A handsome, smart conehead, but let's face it, a c-h. Also, those photos are mostly grotesque, and unintentionally so. I hope you weren't the one choosing them.

Can somebody explain to me again why Jan Wahl is famous? Back east, we would just call her the crazy lady with the funny hat collection. Out here she appears to be a celebrity.

Don't take it personally Cedric just drink more mass quanties of beer.
OH and you know what to do with all those eggs, right?
