Admission Free At National Parks This Weekend

Entrance fees to national parks will be waived this weekend, folks. (Yay!) In addition to free admission, according to the LA Times, "many park partners, including area hotels and restaurants, will offer discounts and special promotions."

Here's a list of the state parks you can explore on the cheap this weekend.

Entrances fees can run anywhere from $3 to $25. So, why not check out one of mother nature's treasures, especially if you haven't been to one before. We recommend the Maritime Historical Park in San Francisco, John Muir, Death Valley and the woefully underrated Sequoia National Park.

Free-admission weekend sounds like the worst time to go to a national park. They should have a double-price weekend for people who don't like crowds.
