See's Candies Involved in 9/11 Conspiracy?

Laughing Squid featured a photo of a rather poetic letter that's posted in the window of the former See's Candies in Nob Hill written by the building's landlord, which explains that the business has been evicted due to their contribution to the “Enron-sponsored” 9/11 attacks.

The above brilliant graphic explains it all, sort of.

Warren Buffet's Berkshire-Hathaway owns See's Candy, and several insurance companies including Geico.

Did Buffet design that site himself? I swear there was a "Send Email" animated gif that folds a letter like a paper airplane. As for See's: Landlord=Prick
Why hate on chocolate?

and of course I still don't see the birth certificate!!!1!

And here I thought their main crime was not treating the gays equally .... hmph.

That sign makes me laugh because all of the people waiting in line at Swan Oyster Depot have PLENTY of time to read the entire thing and discuss it. Pretty brilliant on the owner's part if you ask me.

hm, since when is polk street "nob hill"?

When it's south of Broadway and north of California(or Bush or Pine depending who you ask)

No, it's "Polk Gulch." Geary to Union and Van Ness to Larkin are the loose boundaries. Completely distinct both architecturally and culturally from Nob Hill.

Always thought of polk gulch as being south of California.

wikipedia gives polk gulch boundaries as Market to Geary

Polk starts to feel more gulchy around Clay imo. Polk and Union is definitely not Polk Gulch though. bla bla who cares.

I always thought that the blur among Russian Hill, Nob Hill and Polk Gulch convened around the radius of Hyde and California. You can really tell who the San Franciscans are on this board whenever this topic comes up. haha...
