Call it what you will, but hometown gal Nancy Pelosi's push to get the President's health care initiative through Congress before their August recess appears to be failing, and among those stalling it is another hometown gal, Senator Dianne Feinstein, who still doesn't know how we're going to pay for any of this shit. Her actual words relate more to creating new health care entitlements that the country's budget can't afford. To wit: "Entitlements are well over 50 percent of every dollar the federal government spends this year and are going straight up. If you add more entitlements, it's a problem." We would agree that a feasible plan for covering the costs of this plan should be laid out, but President Obama promises it won't add to the deficit. DiFi calls bullshit. Who to believe?
Barack, meanwhile, blames the media for not trying hard enough to sell the plan, all while sipping gazpacho shooters and munching on watermelon salad at a fundraising event in Chicago. For his part, he appears unfazed by the Senate's delay, just so long as they are taking the bill seriously. No word on the state of Nancy's voice after screaming through conference calls for the last several days.

How this woman is any different from any Republican that might have served in this seat is beyond me. She'll only be for a health care system that doesn't cost a fortune and actually treats health problems when she has enough campaign contributors who can make a buck off it.
I would love to see her try to steal a bottle of wine from Whole Foods.
Really.
Congress is going to fuck up health care anyway, DiFi or no DiFi.
Fucked up health care > current health care system
Now that our legislators are supposedly on the same track with E-Verify, it needs to be rigorously enforced? California--a Sanctuary State--will need exclusive attention along with other border states, because they have been occupied by millions of illegal immigrants, causing major damage to their economies. Once E-Verify is fully implemented on a permanent basis for all the working population, including all persons on a payroll? My suggestion is an army of federal inspectors of perhaps retired civil servants, senior citizens in their resident community, to make unexpected inspections on large and small businesses.
The inspectors will probably have to be armed with a general search warrant, but honorable business will hardly impose this restriction if they have nothing to hide? This will be a strict deterrent to parasite businesses, who will never be aware--WHEN THAT FEDERAL OFFICER--is going to turn up, to observe their workers? They will audit their books and check for irregularities in the workplace. This is happening in Italy and other countries, because of the importation of illegal foreign labor, has caused major concerns amongst the countries bona-fide workers. If Washington is really sincere about the10.5 jobless Americans, then we need to impose heavy penalties on those business that scorn the law. Another possibility is a reward system for informants, who have positive knowledge of companies that are scoffing at E-Verify, and committing the offense of hiring illegal aliens. Business are living off taxpayers taxes, because they don't convey health care to their illegal hires.
Get on the phone and tell your Representative, you support--THE SAVE ACT-- 202-224-3121 Believe it! Your voices are having the right effect.?Support for the bi-partisan SAVE Act, which will expand E-Verify and protect American jobs! We must focus on the key to this major problem-the jobs that attract illegal aliens. It would phase in a requirement for every employer to use the electronic verification system. We must also be aware that the Democrats are ready to open the gates to our nation, once a path to citizenship is announced. Search out the facts at NUMBERSUSA, AMERICANPATROL

Pssst: Health Care and/or Dianne Feinstein and/or Obama content?
My fair-skinned, one-note, snake-charmer?
Wonderful Analysis, Mr. Dobbs.
Obama promises it won't add to the deficit. DiFi calls bullshit. Who to believe?
Obama.
You know what's not deficit-neutral? The current system. So DiFi: Quit. Your. Bitching. You're really going to vote against health care reform? Really? The single most important legislative achievement that any Democrat living has ever done?
Yeah. That's what I thought. We know you're going to do it anyway. You're just maneuvering for leverage. It isn't cute.
I used to think there was nothing that could get her out of that seat (short of dying), but a California Democrat voting against heathcare reform might just do the trick.
Dianne Feinstein is California's very own Joe Liebermann; she's never met a dollar bill that she didn't like.
She should be held up as an example of the drawback of allowing the mega-wealthy to govern. She's long past her congressional expiration date; send her packing and DO NOT ever vote any of the grandchildren that she's grooming for public service into office!
Ow. That's BRAKES, people. Putting the BRAKES on.
