Oh, God. The ladies at 7x7 opened up nominations for their "2009 style council." That is to say, you get to vote from this pool of candidates for most stylish person in San Francisco. While all of them are worthy candidates, you will probably recognize 0.00 of these locals with faces full of fashion. But you should still vote for one (out of 80) of them here. (Tip: don't vote for any candidate sporting severe bangs or anything looking back to the '80s.) The winner gets a spread in the 7x7 September fashion issue. May God be with them. In related news, the SF Fashion Awards happen later this month. Isn't that adorable?

it's like high school yearbook: the people with candid pictures are the friends of people on the staff. it never ends.
Whoever designed that java script that makes you have to mouse-over the image and then still have scroll down to see the full name and picture definitely does not win Most Stylish Web Designer.
I have no idea who any of these people are, but I voted for #86, girl with the cello, because she has a cello.

#41, Kristen Gilbert. No idea who she is but she's the only one who looks high-fashion to me. Plus, omg is that a rabbit fur coat? Whatever it is, wearing that in this town would take massive balls so my hat is off to her.
I've never heard of any of these people, but #57 totally gets my vote. I want to get drunk with him and complain about how radio sound effects aren't as good as they used to be.

While her picture was taken in Chinatown, she actually moved out of SF a while back and calls Sonoma wine country her home these days.

Well. My sister is in #13. She is actually nominating her friend Caille who is with her. They are both adorable and I can tell you that the jacket is not real fur....shiver. ;) They are cute, young and fashionable. Caille is a junior editor at the Chronicle and manages to look adorable on way too little money for her big brain. They've got my vote!
