Killing My Lobster is great. I saw this video as part of their last production and they killed. California/Bay Area centric humor like the CHP translating between a SoCal surfer and an Oakland hood chick.

agreed that the cleveland vid is much better. Actually has some pride in the city and a desire for it to be better. the oakland vid is simply condescending.
Of course its condescending, it's made by people from San Francisco. And we all know San Francisco is better. It just is.
And looking at their huge staff list, odds are at least a few of them live in the East Bay, if not more.
Oakland is, however, the soil where them other rappers get they lingo from.

Yes. Oh, yes.
It's not like the mission, but there are some nice restaurants there now (Pizzaiolo is especially worth a visit).
It can't really ever be hip again because they closed down Biggums Silver Lion (a convenient provider of an 'old school' vs 'new school' signifier).
