Friday's the deadline for the last (Grand Prize) drawing of the San Francisco Dream House Raffle, which benefits Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Buy a $150 ticket, and you could win a $2.4 million Dream House in the Sunset or $1.8 million in cash. Most people would be smart to take the cash, unless they can afford the huge taxes on the house. Or, if they already own a less dream-worthy house, they could sell it to pay the taxes, or something. Either way, your $150 benefits a great cause. The final, Grand Prize drawing takes place July 25.

Week Around the Ists

They should do another when where they drop a zero from each value, just for fun. Charge people $15 for a chance to win a $240K home or take $180K cash.
Ha! Now that's a raffle I would enter.
nice house. now that's a porch I would defecate on.
The reason I don't do this...
It would mess up my life.....
Heck $150 I might be able to swing , the prize tax or the yearly estate/realty tax levied by the government I couldn't.
Let's not talk about how much work it would be in this enviornment to sell the place.
Heck , even if I did it would mess up my 'monthly checks'.
Oh yea, I'm on the public 'dole'..... is that how it's printed? Anyways for Mental, Emotional, and Health Reasons. Talk about a 'hat trick'. I can't believe...... oh heck I'm going to hit the 'submit' button anyways.
Doing this, winning the prize, would mess up my world!
That's why you just take the cash dude.
