In other news, Dirty Projectors, fresh off the critic lovefest of their latest, Bitte Orca, play a sold out gig at the Independent tomorrow. And it's senior week at the Fillmore as the venue hosts the aging Mighty Mighty Bosstones and the aging Duran Duran. Capping off the week, the star-studded lineup of Death Cab, Andrew Bird and Ra Ra Riot will grace the stage of the Greek Theatre in Berkeley on Saturday. See you out there.

I'm really looking forward to seeing The Gay Blades at Bottom of the Hill on Wednesday (7/8). I caught them on their last tour (they played at Kimo's) and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.
What else are you gonna do? Stay at home and watch New Adventures of Old Christine? Ha!
What, no love for Neverland - the new local Michael Jackson tribute band (their first show was at Bimbo's 2 weeks ago) - at Slim's Saturday?
Yes, Silbakor! Neverland rocked my world. July 11th at Slim's 9pm.
