farmCity.jpg LIT: Novella Carpenter, author of Farm City: The Education of an Urban Farmer, will be on hand to discuss her adventures with raising chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys, a beehive, rabbits, and pigs in her Oakland garden (not all at the same time).

FILM: Mustache Cinema, which happens every first Wednesday of the month, presents Recycle, Rephotograph, Reuse: A Lost and Found Footage Show, which integrates previously authored work from footage such as home movies, newsreels, or instructional films, into original content creating a whole new meaning. This month features work by Jay Rosenblatt, Greta Snider, Chick Strand, Thomas Draschen, Chuck Braverman and Martin Arnold.

COMEDY: Arj Barker, who is a regular on “Flight of the Conchords,” "The Late Show with David Letterman," and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” will bring his stand-up to Cobb's tonight through Friday night. Natasha Leggero, a regular panelist on "Chelsea Lately," opens.
