Not exactly 'ending'. NUMMI continues to manufacture Toyota vehicles there. That said, the jobs of thousands of workers in Alameda County hinges on Toyota's next move.

While not producing the large numbers of Toyota, Tesla Motors is still manufacturing cars in California.
