What's Going On Here, Dude?

Bacon, Valencia Street, "art," San Francisco values, coalition, cupcakes, burlesque troupes, zzz....

Hey, should SFist reinstate its moratorium on Frank Chu? Sure, we haven't posted anything about him in ages, but with an election on the distant horizon, we thought it best to get a jump start. After the jump, take our poll to let us know. Thanks.

I'm afraid I'll be missign out on Saturday.

just get him drunk and invite him over to your apt to play Yahtzee and he will forget his sign.

you'll spend less than $20 on the beer it takes to get Frank tipsy enough to forget his sign.

Speaking of Chu, did anyone else see the Elsewhere Public Works protest? Some guy came with a Chu-style sign. And then Frank Chu himself showed up.

Good times.

Frank is like a good Camembert. Excellent in small doses.

But Chu smells a lot better.

I concur. I never feel like a trip downtown or some large event in the city is complete without a Chu sighting. It's like going to Venice Beach and not seeing the guy with the turban on roller skates while playing the guitar (if he's still around, I haven't been there in years).

What's not to like about Frank Chu? I just worry that he's psychotic and in alot of turmoil and people aren't realizing.

At first glance, I thought that said "original sins".

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Wonder if it says something about my subconscious?

I saw one of these signs yesterday on the way home from work. I woulda snapped a pic but it was taped to a pole and I couldn't get a decent shot because of the curvature.

Anyway, if you go to http://pancakeplayhouse.org/, you'll find they're a "Burning Man theme camp" that, well, makes pancakes.

The sanity estranged are the best ones to cover. Who wants to read about boring, well-grounded, sane people?

Definitely more Chu. After spending some alone time with him in the car, Spotswood and I are BFF's with him, if only because he didn't kill or molest us.

I love Frank! What's not to love about Frank???
