Science of Chocolate, Tonight, 7:30 p.m., KQED

QUEST on KQED Public Media.

Everyone loves chocolate -- especially "bitches," as a female friend loves to remind us whenever we reach for a Snickers. From Willy Wonka to Kylie Minogue, people love shoveling it into their greedy, sugar starved mouths.

For all you fans out there, you should check out tonight's Science of Chocolate. Coming to you from QUEST, KQED’s local science and environment series, tonight's documentary will "explain the elaborate engineering and chemistry behind this tasty treat." What's more , they'll tell you why it's good for your health. (Maybe they'll also explain why the gastronomic set feels the need to rid chocolate of milk. Dark chocolate is just too much.)

Anyway, check out the video above for a small taste (har) or visit KQED for more info. (Please ignore the anti-commercial television bit at the start. Mean!) Airs at 7:30 p.m. on KQED 9.
