Cats Rescued and Revived by SFFD

Two lucky kittens were rescued from an apartment fire early this morning at 951 Jackson Street. When fire fighters arrived, the two felines were unconscious. The kittens were scooped up by SF's bravest (and sweetest) and were treated with oxygen. According to KTVU, the kitties came back "from the brink of death."

On another note, no humans were harmed in the blaze, which was extinguished at 3:15 a.m. What a nice story to start off a Friday!

Kittens? OMG! Were they milked too?

: )

That little guy in the picture looks like a Maine Coon mix. I'd catch a bullet for my Maine Coon.

I think you're right, I see some very furry and extra large feet...aw, what a cute little *unintelligible* kitty witty itsy bitsy *????* furface. :)

This was the building nextdoor to mine. I watched them carry in the hose and strap tanks to their banks. Not that I ever want that sort of thing to happen to someone's home, but it was pretty exciting to watch!

banks = backs. Ugh. Clearly, I am tired after a 3 am fire woke me up.

Awww! Nice to see that kind of news for once.

And the supes want to cut the Fire Dept's budget. Why does Avalos hate kittens?
