Photos: Israel in the Gardens Festival

On Saturday Sunday at Yerba Buena Gardens in downtown San Francisco, the annual Israel in the Gardens Festival took place. As expected, it was more comfortable than your typical daytime outdoor public festival, complete with more shade, good bargains, comfy seating, less dairy, and almost zero SF progressives in attendance.

Best of all, scores and scores of hot Israeli Jews converged on Yerba Buena Gardens. Oy, is right. Sadly, if you missed it, you'll have to wait an entire year. Until then, check out some images form this past weekend's festival. Enjoy.

I walked by when they release a gazillion doves into the sky. I think it was on Sunday, by the way.

how come those people aren't being run over by bulldozers? what a sham.

His name is Ivri Lider.

Are you really keeping the previous comment posted?

i'm with you. those are fucked up - but relax it's the intarwebz.

what, too soon for jenin jokes?

Wow that comment is unbelievably offensive and hurtful. It's shameful that you would post something like that in response to pictures of families and children. Have a little respect.

f- you with this "lighten up." You can't say that you want to run over a group of people celebrating Israel with a bulldozer and expect people to "lighten up." I've heard too many anti-semitic slurs and "jokes" to take your idiotic comment lightly.

Seriously, Francis, LIGHTEN UP.

My god - you dropped "anti-semitic" over this?

REALLY?

Bulldozers happened.
Snark happens.

Put on your big-boy pants, eh?

The situation, you see, is as complicated as a game of chess....

frankly, i'm still trying to figure out what "ivri lider" is supposed to be referring.

Astounding. If you even bring up that Israel's engaged in an occupation, which is a fact, you're instantly labelled anti-semite. lame. hope the kiddies had a good time and hope the occupation (occupation! occupation!) is over by the time they're grown.

Agreed!

There are MANY people who "celebrate Israel" all while they are working towards ending the occupation. Are they anti-semite too?

"anti-semite" is an tired ad hominem attack.

okay, how about "ill-informed and dangerously naive moron?"

> okay, how about "ill-informed and dangerously naive moron?"

also a tired, ad hominem attack!
well done!

it being tired and ad hominem makes it no less true. duh.
