It's been a chaotic morning on the roads. First, a multi-car crash screwed up the commute on the Bay Bridge. Now, according to Action News SF, "The Ninth St[reet] off-ramp from Northbound 101 is completely closed [due to] to an injury accident involving a cement truck." Traffic head to the East Bay, though, looks fine -- at least according to the view outside SFist HQ.

It is spelled A-C-C-I-D-E-N-T.
Among all of the vehicle types to NOT cut off when driving on the highway, I'm thinking a cement truck with a few tons of cement in motion (that physics stuff) is close to the top of the list of vehicles to not gamble with close call lane changes.
Also in accident news; a woman driving a silver BMW, rear-ended a HUGE pickup truck at the N-Judah turn around on La Playa this afternoon. How she didn't see such a leviathan is puzzling, but I'm willing to bet she was distracted by her cellphone conversation. The BMW is only fit for parts now; she pretty much plowed right into the truck.
