harveymilk.jpg FILM: In celebration of Harvey Milk's birthday this past Friday, the Castro is screening both Rob Epstein’s Academy Award-winning 1984 documentary, The Times of Harvey Milk and Gus Van Zant's feature film Milk back-to-back through Thursday.

DANCE: It's an underwear party at Planet Big, the monthly event for big men and their admirers, which happens every fourth Sunday.

5 p.m. to 2 a.m. // The Stud (399 Ninth St) // $5, 21+

VIDEO: Visiting the Bay Area live for one night only in Vaudeville Follies, the latter-day vaudeville team of Nada Gordon and Gary Sullivan will present their most recent poetry, performance and video work. Local poet-provocateur Erika Staiti will perform her live film re-narration of a short scene from A Woman Under the Influence, and New York visual artist, montagist, and poet Brandon Downing will premiere several disturbingly funny new video collages.
