Public Drunkness is in the judgement of the officer, right? So, if you have a beer or two, get really excited about the game -- you could end up in jail? Sounds like a good reason to watch it at a bar.

SF used to be one of the few places in the country where it was still fun to be young. Everyone looked the other way on just about everything. Now it's hard for even us old people to have fun.... ...and I'm still not sure who the heck the NIMBYs are seeking to suburbanize the city and why they have so much power, since I never seem to meet them in daily life.

Jen: The SFPD did this before last year, and it was an easy excuse for AT&T Park to ban all unsealed soda bottles and all cupped beverages entering the park. That itself angered a ton of fans on a freezing cold night where coffee at Starbucks was a hell of a lot cheaper than that $7 piece of junk in the park.
