Police are on the hunt for a man "wearing a do-rag" who snatched the purse of a woman early Sunday morning while she was strolling in the South SF. According to reports, the suspect walked up behind the victim and asked for her purse while brandishing a handgun. The incident occurred on Meath Drive near Carter Drive at around 2:50 a.m. The suspect is described as a "man in his late 20s was last seen wearing a black jacket with a hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes. He is about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs between 170 and 180 pounds,." Call the South San Francisco Police Department at 650-877-8900 (ask for Officer Molyneux!) if you have any information.

Okay, note to self: do not hang out on Meth Drive at 3am.

I don't know why they bother with descriptions at all. Medium height, medium weight, black hoodie, pants, and shoes? Shit, that describes 1/2 the male students at any given SF high school.
