Fisherman's Wharf Fitness, Health & Safety Fair This Sunday

wharf.jpg In conjunction with Sunday Streets, there will be a Fitness, Health & Safety Fair this Sunday at Fisherman's Wharf from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (for those who want to brave the Wharf).

There will be a rock-climbing wall for children to test their skills, and adults can learn the latest in exercise techniques. Sustainable food experts will educate visitors on healthy eating, and safety experts will provide information on how to plan and protect ourselves and our families in emergency situations. There will also be life-saving drills at the event.

The fair is free and open to the public. Taking public transit to the event is strongly encouraged, and the F & T Lines will be free of charge from 8:30am to 2:00pm. There will be valet bike parking provided by the Fisherman’s Wharf Community Benefit District and managed by the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition.

That climbing wall better be reinforced, I spend every day at the Wharf and those tourists' kids are meaty f**kers. And the other thing I've noticed is that the skirt has gone completely out of fashion. Everyone down there wears the same unisex outfit of jeans and hoodies.

Yeah for Fisherman's Wharf merchants embracing Sunday Streets this go around - change can be good, yo!

so get out there and eat some fried food and hit that wall fat asses
