What's Going On Here, Muni?

First, why is the error message so "passive-aggressive"? Also, the error sign was up for at least nine hours without any Muni employee passing by, or at least none caring enough to fix it.

Fail: your automatic train control system runs on OS/2.

Epic Fail: your arrival time system runs on Windows XP and Adobe Motherfucking FLASH.

Care is not in the union contract.

Time to bring up Aaron Peskin's charter amendment to treat MUNI employees like everybody else working for the City - make them negotiate their wages/salaries. http://www.examiner.com/a-678076~Peskin_to_make_Muni_reform_push.html

I rarely second, but this is classic epic fail. FLASH? XP? What, nobody had an extra memory card for their old Commodore 64 and somebody who knew BASIC?

Is Newsom running the IT department too?

Next time you see this, grab an old ps2 mouse (usually free on your neighborhood sidewalk) and duct tape it to the back of the screen and let it hang.

Then photograph and post here.

Epic win and many internets shall follow.

I have an old Atari 800 and I know BASIC. Maybe they'll hire me!

This thread is like a honeytrap for unemployed IT slobs.

Even an unemployed IT snob would be better qualified to run Muni than the college dropouts and fucktards they hire.

Yes, I've known people who work on Muni's IT staff. And yes, my description of them is quite accurate.

Flash? So 2001. Everyone knows that everyone is using Adobe Air these days.
