YouTube Symphony's World Premiere

YouTube-Symphony.jpg Chinese composer Tan Dun wrote this piece, "Internet Symphony, Eroica," and YouTube solicited audition videos from muscians around the globe, who will all be performing it together this evening at Carnegie Hall in NYC with SF's own Michael Tilson Thomas conducting. Watch, after the jump, as the piece is played via a mashup of all those audition videos. Whether you like classical music or not, this is still pretty cool.

Read and watch more about the symphony and the piece at www.youtube.com/symphony.
