Family of Sandra Cantu Slaying Suspect Can't Stop Calling Her "Churchgoing"

The family of Tracy's own Melissa Huckaby -- who we mentioned earlier is the prime suspect in the slaying of 8-year-old Sandra Cantu -- can't stop talking about how "churchgoing" and "good" she is. She's the granddaughter of a pastor, teaches Sunday school. "She must have had a double life, because she seemed sweet and the Bible study kids love her," waxes Carlos Martinez, who lives in the Orchard Estates Mobile Home Park near where the alleged murderess lived. While everyone is calling this murder an anomaly, former Christ Lutheran Church Congregation Council President Dennis Rader (AKA the BTK Killer) might beg to differ. In related news, police have identified Clover Road Baptist Church as the spot where Cantu was killed.

And God let this happen why?

Silly goose! Does free will ring a bell? Humans do things on there own by there own (free will would not be free will if forced or messed with). Unfortunately there are sick people out there in the world. And Yes, there are even those who sit in and play church when they never get to know God. And those who do unholy things in Gods name will have to answer some day. As the good book says in revelations.."There will be a day when you will stand before me and say,"didn't I heal and do miracles in your name", and I will respond with Away from me! I never knew you!" In other words people can look like they know God but never know him at all.
It's sad that people like that turn others off from getting to know the big guy up stairs. Remember, it's not a religion that saves you but a true relationship with your maker. Peace out!

That's why I don't go to church. Oh, and also because I'm a Taoist.

Because no one who was part of the church or was religious or a christian in general has ever done anything evil.

I wish there was a hell so this "mother" would burn in it eternally for taking away another mother's daughter. I can't imagine how I would feel if that was my kid and my neighbor.

good thing that being religious never causes people to do things like this, unlike videogames and heavy metal music.

These folks are not critical thinkers, they're adults who believe in magic so it's no surprise they are unable to hold two opposing ideas in their mind at one time. "She worshipped Jesus" and "she [may have] killed this child", no matter how much evidence to the contrary they won't ever say that both these things are possible at the same time, it rocks their world a little too much.
