Bay Area Easter Egg Hunts
There are all sorts of Easter egg hunts going on throughout the Bay Area this weekend. Below are just a few.
Sunday in San Francisco
The 18th Annual Union Street Spring Celebration and Parade: Kids activities include a bouncing booth, climbing wall, petting zoo, and pony rides. There will also be live music, a hat contest, art cars and vintage cars, and many of the restaurants on Union Street will be serving special brunches. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Easter Buffet at Park Chalet : There will be an egg hunt with the Easter Bunny at 10 a.m., followed by live, kid-friendly music by Music with Me 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a breakfast buffet, including bottomless champagne, as well as a BBQ menu.

Saturday in the East Bay
The Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate's Old-Fashioned Egg Hunt with Bunny & Games: Features egg hunts for different age groups, tap-dancing bunnies, puppet shows, and children of all ages can get close-up photos with the Easter Bunny. Tours of the mansion with a costumed docent will also be offered. Adults $5, children $2, free for kids under 5.
UC Berkeley's 15th Annual Eggster Hunt and Learning Fair: There will be performances from Cal student groups, and appearances from the Easter Bunny, Oski, and Scruff McGruff. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the center of campus next to the clock tower. Free.
Berkeley's Spring Egg Hut Extravaganza in Willard Park:
Features different hunts for four age groups. Kids aged 1 to 7 will hunt for eggs, and 8 to 10-year-olds will hunt for treasures. There will also be a petting zoo, a visit with the Spring Bunny, arts and crafts, and a kid's carnival with prizes. Participants will receive a basket to collect all their goodies in. $5
