The missing child case that captured the nation's imagination officially turned into a murder investigation today after the body of 8-year-old Sandra Cantu was found yesterday. The Tracy girl's body was discovered "stuffed in a suitcase that had been dumped in an irrigation pond a few miles from her home." Also, according to AP (who, by the way, can currently be heard making an astoundingly pathetic death rattle these days), she was found wearing a pink "Hello Kitty" T-shirt and black leggings.
