Does anyone really think the United States gives a shit about human rights abuses as long as they get the oil from Iraq and the cheap heroin from Afghanistan? The U.S. knew about the taliban's atrocities against women in afghanistan for YEARS before they decided to "liberate" the country (i.e., make it worse for them). If they don't even care about women being caned for showing an ankle in public, do you really think they care about gays being executed?</p>
