As of 11:30 a.m., bagpipes play as the caskets carrying the bodies of Sgt. Mark Dunakin, Sgt, Ervin Romans, Sgt. Daniel Sakai, and Officer John Heg enter Oracle Arena. Gavin Newsom, Barbara Boxer, and Jerry Brown are in attendance, as are thousands of Oakland officers.

Nice pictures Brock. I know you didn't take them, but this was a nice, albeit minimalist way to address the event. Given the many times you dare to take SFist into areas of what could be seen as bad taste (which I normally applaud), this was just right. Thanks for knowing when to be a little delicate.
