Girl Scout cookies season is upon us, and we are all better for it. Well, most of us are. A gaggle of Burlingame Girl Scouts were injured earlier this month after a truck plowed into them while hawking cookies. And this North Carolina scout who got busted for successfully promoting her goods on YouTube. (The Girl Scouts have a ban on Internet sales in order to protect the girls' safety.)
The most popular cookie? Samoas. Which should come as no surprise. These gems make up 25% of their sales.
But what say you? What Girl Scout cookie is your favorite? Let us know by voting for your favorite after the jump.

Week Around the Ists

Needs a poll for least-favorite.
I will not be intimidated away from thin mints.
What's with the Thin Mint hate? Those things are great.
Thin Mints are in fact the winner, but ONLY the Little Brownie variety, and then ONLY right out of the freezer.
I swear I saw a GS cookie table last week that was only staffed by an adult.
holy crap, this comment took less than a minute between submit and post. high times indeed!
Yep, Thin Mints straight out of the freezer are total cracky goodness. Samoas are out for me because of the evil evil coconut.
Amen! Coconut is evil!! Thin Mints are the best!
Mint and chocolate should never collide. Who wants toothpaste in their candy bar?
Andes, York Peppermint Patties, Junior Mints, and now 3 Musketeers would beg to differ.
It's all about the Tagalongs for me, Samoas a close runner-up...and I fully concur with Brock regarding Thin Mints. :P
SF is so PC, i can only get my samoas as Caramel Delites. Plus this year because of the cost of making the cookies they had to make them smaller, WTF.
Thin Mints are the best. Samoas a close second, but Carmel Delights are no substitute for Saomas. Yes, in my household, we have even conducted blind taste tests between Samoas and Carmel Delights. Samoas won in a landslide. (Yes, my mother in-law was the regional Girl Scout Cookie Sales Manager in Mass and yes, I do have too much time on my hands.)
Poll doesn't feature an "I'm a self-righteous vegan and cannot indulge in the deliciously unhealthy cookies" button for me to click :/
1.Thin Mints Rock.... besides mint plants look so much like catnip :-)
2.Tagalong's next despite the peanut scare factor... hey if I'm willing to fire paintballs why should a health scare , scare me?
3.All abouts .... yummmm shortbread and fudge... Whoot!!!
It was so sad to hear about some girlscouts getting hurt because of some old frak' who needs to be checked to see if he is not to old to drive. Maybe he should invest in a bicycle and buy more Girl Scout cookies with the money he saves.
Whichever kind don't cost eight goddamn dollars for a tiny box. I don't have anything against the cookies themselves, but they're ludicrously overpriced. Speaking of which, what are they selling for locally? Based on past experiences I didn't even bother to slow down.
MUST HAVE ... SAMOAS!
SAMOAS are the best but the best girl scot cookie seller is a cute young girl named SZB in the haight.
PB
Samoas qualify as a class A controlled substance.
Thin mints are a class C, after thorough freezing. And submersion into milk.
