Happening right now (as of 4:30 p..m), the N Judah is anticipating big delays. Getting home should be difficult, so riders should explore non-Muni methods of getting home.
Also, is 511 withholding information about the delay from riders? Because it's completely missing from their list of alerts. Sure, 511's alert went out via RSS, but if you just browse their list of alerts it doesn't show up. So lots of people won't see it until they're trapped.
Why do we pay millions for this shitty 511 website that doesn't work? It's infuriating. Seriously.

It's not just the N, all the outbound lines in the subway are f-ed up.
The nextbus map shows a huge clog near Embarcadero, which is also backing up into the surface N and T lines.

I hope you're ready to fork over billions for even more shitty programs that don't work. Hooray Change!
The coworkers have been warned. Thanks for the heads-up.
I like getting home just in time to find out why it took so long to get here.
Must've cleared it up by the time I got down there at 5:30, I had no problem getting home on the N whatsoever
use nextbus.com so much better
I sent a nice comment/suggestions to the link on the 511 website, about that particular delay/alert yesterday afternoon. They responded this morning, saying that the alert had been available from the alert/announcements page, but had been removed after the alert was canceled. I tend to believe them as SFist posted this at 4:30, which was 2 hours after the alert was first posted.
