does anyone take Yelp seriously anymore? one star reviews get written and prominently posted; yelp contacts the restaurant and suggests they purchase advertisement on the site; yelp 'sweetens' the deal by promising to push all one star reviews to the bottom and inflate (ie: write and post) better reviews. it's an extortion racket that's the envy of the mafia. it's how social networks get coopted and manipulated.
