After Kellogg's foolishly dropped gold medal Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps' endorsement contract -- if you recall, he was caught taking a hit of mary jane earlier this year -- the lanky sports star the company decided to donate "two tons of Frosted Flakes and Corn Flakes with the gold medal winner on the box" to local food banks, according to NBC Bay Area. Kellogg's loss is hungry San Francisco's gain. A San Francisco Food Bank spokesperson Gayle Keck told what's-his-name, "We do regularly see products with packages that are no longer desirable ... Though Kellogg's and their star spokesman hit a patch of rough water, San Francisco's hungry just got thrown a life preserver."
