What with the Fowler family giving San Francisco a bad name, let us not forget about the real, truly liberal, adorably subversive families of the Bay Area. Take, for example, the Rosenthals. According to Current TV -- which, as of late, has been getting better and better -- they're like this:
The Rosenthals are like the Cleavers, only punk. Henry, the patriarch, is a filmmaker and was the drummer in one of the first ever punk bands, Crime. His kids, 16 year old Lou Lou and 19 year old George, are also in a band, who just put out their first LP. Carola is a costume designer, band manager, and Mom. They live in a 6 story industrial building in San Francisco where they eat, sleep, work and jam. This is the new American dream.
Enjoy.

Regarding the Fowlers - I just discovered that his phone number (likely changed by now), is public on a Facebook Group page - "I Cannot Stand Stephen Fowler (from Wife Swap)"
Just sayin'
That is one of my favorite buildings, on Stevenson I believe
wow. I took a class from Rosenthal at State. It was around the time The Devil and Daniel Johnston was released (which he produced) Didn't know he was old school punk - Why couldn't I have a dad like that!?
