My wife and I flew from the east coast last Friday for one reason: to see Zach Galifianakis perform stand up. We had tickets to see him in Arizona but he apparently canceled to play this gig. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more ripped off in my life. The creators of SF Sketchfest are crooks and I hope they burn in hell. Bob Tisdale is a joke as a comedian and no one in their right mind would pay money to see him. I assure you that 99% of the crowd was their to see Zach or Bob Odenkirk perform standup. I hope those of you who were there last Saturday night vote with your wallets and boycott any future events planned by these scumbags.

This show was completely lame. I too wanted my money back. I can't believe this review is so positive. Zach Galifianakis and Bob Odenkirk were the headlining names that got people to pay $25 for tickets. Zach did not perform really, especially as a headlinger. And Bob was on the stage for a total of 30 seconds. Playing Bingo was a clever way to waste time and thats about it. A friend of mine actually spoke to the manager afterwards but he claimed Cobbs wasn't responsible for anything Sketchfest does. LAME.

Yeah, I left the show kind of disappointed as well (notice I said "interesting" concept), but when I started writing this review I realized there were plenty of funny parts and it all suddenly seemed a lot funnier to me. But as a whole, I hear Gameshow Explosion was a lot better.

After going to a few of these shows, I've realized that the ones with such a huge line-up are often a bit of a letdown. Probably better to go to the straight-up stand-up nights.

I'm saddened by seeing you comment on this show. I was there. It was the SINGLE worse comedy (if you can call it that) show I have ever seen. And I have seen Chris Tinkle half a dozen times.

You are telling me that they had Zach Galifianakis listed as a headline and he did ONE joke. And you Bob Tisdale host it? His only joke was saying "test" for 6 minutes. Then, you bring out Andy Richter without him telling a joke.

I was about to go demand a refund. However, I understand that you are taking a risk at all shows and that not everyone will find everything funny. But that show was horrible, no way to sugar coat it.
