Torched Porta-Potty Map

For three months, porta-potties in the Marina, North Beach, and Russian Hill have gone up in flames. Rob Spectre at Dream Not of Today created this illuminating map that shows just where portable outhouses fell victim to San Francisco's favorite evasive arsonist/arsonists. Spectre goes on to report that authorities and citizens are downright flummoxed.

Construction contracters have been forced to camouflage their endangered restrooms. The SFFD’s Arson Task Force is baffled as to the torcher’s motivation. Writers and editors worldwide are running dangerously low on shitcentric circumlocution. It is quite nearly pooper pandemonium.

There have been 21 incidents of porta-potty immolating since November.

Well. That solves it.

Aaron Peskin is just bored, that's all.

Given the wide range, I'd say it's likely either they are on bicycle or they are a morning jogger. Otherwise they could find the person on Muni cams. Oh wait. That would rely on SFPD actually investigating, so scratch that.

It's 11 pm. Do you know where your porta-potty is?

white male, 40-ish, loner, probable substance abuse problem, will likely move on to bigger targets once the thrill wears off and the press stops covering the porta-potty torchings

the porta potties are full of witches. that's the only way to get them out. I'm truly sorry for the damages.

that's about $15,000 in damages for these San Francisco porta potty companies.

A porta potty can refer to several different types of toilets or portable bathrooms. The porta potty that is really a portable bathroom is not always a wonderful place to be. Usually, instead of having flushing ability, the bottom of the toilet bowl is coated with chemicals that slowly degrade human waste. So, when hearing this kind of news, I said to myself that it is not usual...LOL. But at least, have the SFPD do their job.
