Neon Signage of San Francisco

We came across this image of the Sherman Clay & Co. sign, and felt propelled to search for other colorful, neon signage adorning the streets of San Francisco. We know you've seen this post a zillion times over, but, well, you're going to see it again.

Point is this: We sure would like to see more signs like these in the future. New neighborhoods (like Mission Bay and such) lack anything resembling aesthetic pleasure much less pretty bright signs that warm the nights. Hopefully, they'll fix that. In the meantime, check out a few beauties around the streets of SF.
