Film du Jour: First Obama Joke on Comedy Central

Kimberly Chun over at SFBG has a great post on Bay Area comedian W. Kamau Bell, who, it seems, was the first comedian to make a Barack Obama joke. Way back in 2005.

Congratulations, Bell!

Oh, and you can check out the history-making comedian right here in San Francisco at The W. Kamau Bell Curve over at SF Playhouse Studio Theater (533 Sutter). It runs through February 28, Thurs. - Sat., 8 p.m.; $25. Bring a friend of a different race to the show and get in two for the price of one.

He almost nailed it. He forgot about "Hussein"

He should perform this at the inauguration as some sort of nod to progress or something. Then he could fly off wearing a jet pack.

"Bring a friend of a different race to the show and get in two for the price of one."

If that's for real? Brilliant. Kudos Mr. Bell.
