So, you know what's-his-name will be our President in, oh, a few days, right? Well, SF is certain to be filled with parties, hooting, hollering, and spontaneous choreography breaking out in the streets, welcoming Barack Obama to the White House.
And we want to know how to celebrate this reportedly historic occasion.
So far, we have word of choice party happening at Quiver Bar, located upstairs at EPIC Roasthouse. this fete will feature $2 Cans of PBR (Obama's alleged drink of choice on the campaign trail), $5 Change & Hope Cocktails (Michter's Small Batch Bourbon, Cointreau, and Orange Muskabado Rum; and $20 Burger/Beer/Brownie (i,e., a meal of 1/2 Pound Roasthouse Burger, choice of a ice cold 12 oz. Budweiser, Anchor Steam draft beer, Trumer Pils draft beer or Thomas Kemper Root Beer, and and a house-made brownie.) A fine time will be had here.
But do you know of any other inaugural celebrations? Let us know in the comments, or send them to us here.

Any bars showing it live at 8:30 am? Now that would be a scene.
There's a simulcast of the inauguration in the plaza outside City Hall.
I like how they stipluate that the socks or underwear need to be new.
Do I celebrate Bush leaving office (which certainly requires merry making) simultaneously with Obama's inauguration? Or do I celebrate Bush leaving the night before and get all that anger out of me so I can start partying afresh for Obama with a renewed vigor and good attitude the next morning?
I am almost as excited to have the d-bag out as I am to have Obama in.
Also - the Main Library is showing it in the Koret Auditorium http://sfpl.lib.ca.us/news/coming.htm With refreshments!
