Previously on "Top Chef," Jamie made scallops. Twice.
This past week on "Top Chef," Jamie made scallops. Yes, again. Let's see what one of her fellow chefs thought about that.
You know what? We'd totally watch a show called "Top Scallops." When is Bravo gonna spin that one off?
Anyway, it's lucky for Jamie that this particular elimination challenge was a blind tasting, in that the judges didn't know who had cooked what. It's doubtful that if they knew ahead of time that she had made scallops once again (fer chrissake!), that they would have given her the win. But they didn't and they did. Yay?
And oh lord, help us, but there's a San Franciscan on the latest edition of "The Real World," which takes place in Brooklyn. Her name is Sarah, and you'll be shocked to learn she has tattoos, and is bisexual. Let's meet her, shall we?
We watched the premiere episode, and have to say she's not as horrible as past cast members, that's for sure. In fact, this entire season seems to consist of people who are not anxious to immediately jump in the hot tub and exchange STDs. Whether that's a good or bad thing of course depends on what you want from your "Real World" episodes, and we're pretty sure drunken rampages, arrests, and ill-advised sexual hook-ups are just around the corner. But for now, seeing a cast that might actually be able to, you know, read, is kind of a breath of fresh air.
