An anarchist is just a law-and-order conservative who hasn't been mugged yet. I see from the IndyBay link that the primary problem is that apparently the cops are not "elected" and are able to wield their unelected power over the rest of us. So the solution is to have cops run for office? And here I thought the primary problem with the SFPD was their incompetent inability to solve crimes. Who knew?

The protest is not with SF. Why do it here? This is going to deplete a budget already depleted of funds. This protest only hurts the poor, sick and homeless by taking food out of their mount, shelter from their heads and treatment from their bodies. Lots of overtime pay for the police however!
