Joyous news, folks! The fat cat protest doll (doll?) is back. Not sure what the protest is about; in fact, we don't even care. We just love this greedy guy.

I think it's a hotel porters' protest.

Anyway, at work today we got a fax advertising a "No Bailout" protest on the 12th that had a drawing of that Fat Cat stabbing that Joe Worker with the Transamerica Pyramid. A little over the top.

I like his pinky ring too. He reminds me of my grandpa.

Where does one get a thing like this made? I'd love to order / organize a bunch for protests.

what's this ... Starbucks makes construction workers fat? huh? (snark)

it's true. too many venti mochas with extra whip.

I walk past this corner every day when I go to work. The one time I call in sick...

Anyhow, the picketers (who are there every day, usually sans Fat Cat) are from a construction union, and are, apparently, picketing the Starbuck's renovation contractor for hiring non-union.

That cat makes me wish I were a corporate mogul. Just for the ring and the fact that he doesn't have to wear pants.
