Toilet Torcher Lights First Match of 2009

strike a match.JPG

Just when you thought the Toilet Torcher was a match striking terror to stay stuck in the halcyon days of 2008, he or she leaps into 2009 with aplomb. See, just this morning for the 13th time since November 2008, someone set a porta-potty on fire during the wee hours of the morning. The fire was reported at around 3:20 a.m. close to the intersection of Van Ness Avenue and Greenwich Street. It was put out by firefighters who arrived on the scene. No one was injured.

Oh, I think I'm inured to these stories by now...

I like the accidental word game. How apropos.

Call me naive but exactly how does one go about lighting a porta potty on fire? Is an accelerant used? Are they really that flammable? I need to understand the mechanics of this.

these crimes reek of a crappy childhood

"these crimes reek of a crappy childhood"

...LOL .. I too would like to know if an accelerant is being used to set these Porta Potties ablaze.

I'd be interested to know if it is perhaps a former, disgruntled employee of a local CA Portable Restroom Service...!?
