Pro-Palestine Protesters Early AM Protest Blocks Traffic

Protesters livid about Israel's (offensive? defensive? you decide!) action in Gaza are blocking streets in as they head toward the Federal Building on Golden Gate Ave. This is an "emergency protest," if you will, sparked by this weekend's move into Gaza by armed forces Lots and lots of people have died since Israel and Palestine started throwing rocks at each others many moons ago..

I was wondering why a couple of helicopters were sitting still over downtowh this morning as I walked to work. Now I know ...

Good idea! Everyone knows that the best way to get people on your side is to make them sit in traffic longer.

I'd normally expect a vigorous Israeli counter-protest, but most of those people actually have jobs to work at.

"At the United Nations, the United States blocked the Security Council from issuing a formal statement on Saturday night calling for an immediate cease-fire, saying there was no indication Hamas would abide by any agreement." = US supports the attack

We can't use the fact that Hamas respected the last cease-fire for 6mos until Israel got all Mommie Dearest.

FYo: I guess it doesn't matter that the people who already do sell medicine, The Red Cross, were kept out of Gaza for two days. What makes you think the Israelis are going to be any more accomodating to the UN?

Alright, comments are h0rk3d. I'm out of here for the day.

Le yawn...curious how many people are actually Palestinian, and the rest just a bunch of loud wankers with no jobs.
Sabacc-What's the point of issuing a statement that serves no purpose, is completely unenforceable and only hurts your allies? That's why the US blocked it.
The UN is worthless as a peace making or peace keeping body. Go to their website and see how many peacekeeping missions are still going on for more the 20+ years.
Like Dave Chapelle said, "Sell some medicine, bitches!'
